Hunh?

Where to start...

So much has happened in the past few days...

First off, let me tell you about Saturday...

And what a Staurday it was... o.o;;

I was ging with my boyfriend to his family gathering, and on the way found out that his great grandma just recently had her birthday.

Okay, so I know who it's for now..

We're on a roll...

Well, until I walked through the door.

His whole family was there.

And it was sooooo awkward meeting them all.

They were really nice though, I'm glad I made a good impression on them since I was really nervous.

So the evening went passed, his great grandma (who I later found out was called "Mama" by the rest of the family) had a little too much to drink and ended up saying something along the lines of:

"You are so pretty, I love you sooo much!"

In her hungarian accent, when the WHOLE room went quiet at dinner.

L.M.A.O!

Anyways, it was really fun. I'm glad I got to meet them.

Now it's just a matter of time before my boyfriend meets MY family.

dun dun duuuuuun.

OKAY! ON TO SUNDAY!!

I wasn't planning on doing anything that day, in fact I was sitting outside studying for my drivers test while my dad and brothers were out in the blow up pool killing each other...

We ended up getting a new dryer (reaaaaal fancy, I'm telling ya)

And yet, I managed to dodge all studying and went to hang out with my ex, current boyfriend, a friend and another friend.

We sat and watched Ice Spiders, funniest movie EVER!

But the previews before the movie was scary as shit, I hate previews for 'horror' films. I particularily hated Shutter...

Anything with spirits freak the shit out of me.

Mostly because I am a very spiritual person and I believe in ghosts and spirits.

So ya, no go on the whole Casper thing.

And finally, today...

I started the day off, playing pokémon and watching Saiunkoku Monogatari on crunchyroll.com

I swear to God, check that anime out. If you're into shoujo or historical fiction, I highly recommend that you look into this!

Anyways, I then went to soccer practice.

MOST WORTHLESS PRACTICE EVER!!

It was a complete waste of my dad's and my time.

And I found out I was playing goalie next week!

Greaaaaaat.

Anyways, I was going for the ball and I collided with a team mate. We both went down and her foot collided with my eye.

Needless to say, my eye is swelling quite nicely.

I hate it when people rush over to you though, whe you're injured. For some reason it puts me on the defensive and I tense up.

I realllly don't like it.

I snapped at this girl on my team, I should really apologise to her...

Just Checkin In...

I haven't posted in a few days, so I think an update is in order...

Alright, so not much has happened in the past few days.

Well, I've been trading pokemon like mad and I'm slowly building up my super team...

Lol, I'm such a geek.

Anyways, I ended up going to my first practice on Tuesday and I had my first game last night for soccer after being away for so long.

I have to say that being off for almost two weeks wasn't good for me.

I'm soooooo out of shape, it's not even funny lmao.

But what can you do?

I mean, I gave as many minuted as I could and running around made me feel a little sick at first.

But it was good to be back nonetheless.

We ended up beating St. Catherine's 2-1, which was good, and so we've earned first place in our league.
w00t

Lol, I love this... she's so cute XD

But other than that, nothing's really happened.

I'm visiting my boyfriend's family tomorrow though.

And when I say family, I mean family.

I'm actually quite nervous ^^;;;

But oh well, I'll just do my best to be patient and polite. Hopefully they'll accept me, haha.

So that's it for now,

Have a nice day everyone!

happy/busy

IT'S ABOUT TIME!!

I. Am. So. Happy!!
Would anyone like to ask why?
It's cause my sickness is almost cured!

I got my bloodtest results back, and even though it took over an hour to wait for them, it was hella worth it!!

I got tested for mono and white blood cells. I was negative for mono and my white blood cell level was abnormally high...

So ya, you can guess my happiness.

But it seems my mom isn't feeling all that much better.. even though she's on much more potent medication than I am.

I hope she gets better soon...

But now all I have to do is finish off the medication I have left and I'm as good as new!

In fact, I feel better already.

I was really worried that I might've had to get another needle, but now I don't have to worry anymore!

So no more isolation for me! Tomorrow, I'm hanging out with my boyfriend and going to soccer practice!

It'll be so nice to get out of the house... *sigh* I can't wait!

But I've noticed something...

put in your two cents if you wish...

Today when I was in the clinic, an old lady came in with a cast on her arm and a cane in her hand.

A man had come in with her and opened the door for her, but didn't walk her to the counter.

Looped on the arm that held her cane were a few heavy bags and a purse.

She was struggling to keep her balance and seemed very much in pain.

Abosuletly NO ONE went to go help her.

A lot of people glanced her way, or stared at her as she hobbled across the room.

I was seething inside, but I didn't hesitate to help her by taking her bags. I then proceeded to walk her to the counter.

But seriously, why was I the only one that budged? I thought helping the elderly came first on everyone's list.

Isn't that simple courtesy?

A 16-year-old girl, getting tested for mono might I add, shouldn't be the first person to move to help someone.

I'm sorry, but I think it's almost expected that the younger generation be rude to their elders.

I'm glad I was brought up properly.

Anyways, most of the people in there were just going for check-ups. And about 2/3rds were healthier men.

'How do I know' You might ask...

I was sat beside the front counter.

It seems our courtesy levels are plummeting though, which is sad.

I hope that if anyone reads this, then they think twice when they see an elder or someone who needs help and proceeds to take a few minutes out of their time to help them.

Then maybe we can start seeing a change in our society.

I hope everyone has an awesome day!

I know I had one.

Gotta catch 'em all!

P O K é M O N !

Hello Everyone!

Today's been a good day.

At least, better than the ones I've had so far this past week.

And guess what?

I finally had my first Wi-Fi trade on Pokémon!

Needles to say I'm feeling very, very powerful.

I also had my first Wi-Fi battle, against my boyfriend.

And it was the first time I beat him. In fact, I mopped the floor with him!

It was sweet to get revenge for the past 5 battles we've had, lol.

I was a bit frustrated earlier today because I couldn't find anyone to trade me a Ditto.

I went to three different forums looking for help, and I found more clues than answers if you know what I mean.

Quite annoying.

All I wanted was a freakin' Ditto for breeding.

Anyways, I managed on my own and caught one legitimately.

(For anyone who doesn't know how, who stumbles across this, let me explain...

If you fly to Canalave City, after beating the Elite Four and getting a National Dex,

walk over to a patch of grass by a golden tree at the east exit of the city.

Use your PokéRadar, there's a chance a Ditto will appear in the shaking grass.

It took me a couple tries, but it's fairly simple to find one.)

Anyways, if anyone wants to trade/battle on Wi-Fi, here's my friend code:

Suzu
2750-0963-4266

Post a comment if you're interested in trading/battling, I'm looking to expand my pokédex though.

Thank you in advance!

happy

So, it seems that not much can stop me...

... except for my mom <3

So I wasn't able to go out with my friends today, her argument being that I had to wait for my bloodtest results to come back first.

I understand where she's coming from, however I reaaaaaaaaally wanted to see my friends.

I haven't been outside much since I got sick.

*pout*

So, laying face down in my bed, I managed to think on the bright side of things.

"Oh well, what can ya do?

All superheroes have weaknesses...

Superman is only super man with the absence of kryptonite.

The Hulk is only the Hulk in the absence of gamma radiation.

And Batman? Well... he doesn't have a weakness so I won't even use him in this example. (haha)

And I won't even mention Spider Man since he's a wimp..."

Not that I think myself as a superhero or anything >__>;;

But on to other glorious things!

I found out how to migrate pokémon this morning, and so have been in the process of stealing all my little bro's pokémon.

I love pokémon. They're so adorable, and the games are addicting.

Pokémon Diamond was the first game where I actually made it to the Elite Four, nevermind beating the game.

Which is super cool, mind you.

So ya, I've been managing my days in bed, playing pokémon and doing the random chore here and there.

But I'm used to running around in the sun and laughing my ass off with friends...

OHHHH!, shut up Domin-eau!! You're acting too emo.. nevermind annoying.

I really do love my boyfriend. He's so kind and patient...
He stops by on occasion to check up on how I'm doing, but he lives a good hour's walk away and he doesn't own a car. I don't think I tell him enough when I say I really appreciate his visits...
His birthday is coming up, and I don't have a lot of money, but I would really appreciate any ideas anyone has.
He's really into horoscopes, so maybe that's a place to start? Birthstones perhaps? Ugh, but that sounds so overdone...

Maybe I'll just come up with something completely random and present it to him with a smile.
That might be the best choice... ^^;;

So, ya I think I've started to get the hang of this
"journal" thing and this website isn't so complicated afterall!

All I needed was a little patience. ^__^

Thank you to all the people who helped me, and will continue to do so!

sick/hurt

Live Journal?!!

WOW, this is a little really awkward...

Hey everyone, I'm a little new to this whole "lets keep a journal" thing. I figured it was about time to start jotting down my thoughts.

So where to start?

I guess I should probably apologize for my incompetence beforehand and say that I'll do my best to get to grips with my awful handle on how to make my journal look cool. You'll have to bear with me...

Now, to start with my first entry! I'll usually have themes to go along with my entries. But mainly I think I'll just touch base on everything that I can think of. <3

Here we go:

I hate needles.

Especially when I don't fully understand why I'm getting a piece of metal stuck in my arm, or don't know the doctor who's doing it.

As it happens, both these things graced me yesterday when I needed to get a blood test done.

Why a blood test? You ask. The answer is fairly simple.

I. Have. Mono.

Lovely, eh?

I've never been this sick in my entire life...

I guess I'll just have to suck it up. Alone. In my dark room...

Okay, I take it all back. This sickness just stinks.

Anyways, so now I have to take these humongous pills three times a day and drink water as if my life depended on it. I really feel bad for people that get sick a lot, or need to get tested often. It must really suck and my heart goes out to them.

But nothing is gonna stop me on Friday, I swear.

Y'see, I've made plans to go out to lunch with a couple of friends. And don't, for a second, think that I'm gonna let my sickness get in my way. I'll beat it over the head with a sledge hammer if I must!

So ya.

Nice to meet you everyone, I'm Domin-eau. Lets be sure to have some cake together sometime?
